The early months of a puppy’s life are some of the most important for their emotional development, confidence, and long-term behaviour. Our Puppy Socialisation Drop-Off sessions are carefully designed to give your puppy the very best start in a calm, safe, and structured environment.

Held every Friday morning at The Retreat, these sessions allow puppies to socialise naturally with other puppies and suitable daycare dogs, while being guided by our experienced and caring team.

Positive social experiences during puppyhood help to:

• Build confidence around other dogs and people
   
• Reduce fear, anxiety, and reactivity later in life
   
• Encourage healthy play and communication skills
   
• Support smoother transitions into daycare and grooming environments
   

Our sessions focus on wellbeing, gentle exposure, and positive reinforcement, ensuring every puppy feels secure, supported, and understood.

• Drop-off service – leave your puppy with our experienced team
   
• Small, controlled groups – maximum of 6 puppies per session
   
• Structured interaction with puppies and carefully selected daycare dogs
   
• Close supervision at all times
   
• One-to-one attention where needed
   
• A calm, nurturing environment tailored to young dogs

Our Puppy Socialisation sessions are ideal for owners who are:

• Considering doggy daycare once their puppy is old enough

Our team is always happy to offer advice on grooming, handling, and ongoing social development, helping you make the best choices for your puppy as they grow.

• £15 per session 
• Available as one-off sessions or block bookings
• Meet & Greet available before your first visit
   

We recommend an initial meet and greet so you and your puppy can explore the retreat, meet our team, and ensure it’s the perfect fit.

Our puppy training classes are held every Thursday from 7:15 PM to 8:15 PM, offering an engaging, positive, and structured learning environment for you and your puppy.

• £20 per session, or save 10% by booking a block of 10 classes for £180. 
• Limited spaces available – early booking is strongly advised!

Working in partnership with Tim Taylor, Founder of TaylorMade Canine Behavior, we deliver expert-led sessions using proven positive reinforcement techniques. Tim is a registered and insured instructor and animal behaviorist, ensuring your puppy is in safe and knowledgeable hands.
