We offer a seamless and enriching experience for both daycare dogs and those staying overnight. Here’s a glimpse into your dog’s day with us, ensuring their time is full of fun, relaxation, and personal care.

Relaxed Mornings:
Each morning starts with a calm and welcoming environment where our staff ensures every dog, whether here for daycare or boarding, feels comfortable and at ease. We supervise all interactions to maintain a balanced and harmonious atmosphere, helping your dog settle in for the day ahead. 

Healthy Habits, Happy Hounds:
We take pride in offering your dog healthy, all-natural treats and engaging enrichment activities throughout their stay. For meals, we mirror your dog’s feeding schedule using the food you provide, ensuring they maintain their balanced diet and avoid any disruptions. A regular, healthy routine is key to a happy dog.

Dynamic Playtime:
Our qualified team tailors your dog’s day to their individual needs. Whether it’s free play with other dogs, quiet rest, or one-on-one interaction with our staff, your dog will enjoy a day filled with joy and stimulation. For overnight guests, this dynamic play continues during their entire stay with us.

Invigorating Walks:
Every dog is treated to two walks per day (depending on health and age) in our secluded, 20-acre private fields. Walks are customized based on your dog's preferences: pack or individual, on-lead or off-lead in our secure paddocks. Rest assured, your dog will never be taken off-site, and their walk will always be designed just for them.

Post-Adventure Dreams:
After their walks, dogs enjoy a peaceful rest period. Cuddles and quiet time are a key part of the day to ensure they recharge and are ready for the next round of fun, whether they’re spending the night or just the day with us.

Personalised Enrichment:
Our team takes extra care to offer one-on-one enrichment activities that cater to your dog’s unique preferences. Whether it's playing fetch, tug of war, or sniffing out hidden treats in a game of hide and seek, we ensure your dog’s mind is as stimulated as their body.

Grooming & Cleanliness:
We guarantee your dog will return home clean and comfortable. Complimentary cleaning of paws and underbellies ensures no dirt or mud follows them home. For an additional charge, you can upgrade to a full bath, dry, or grooming session during their stay, so your dog is fresh and ready for cuddles when you pick them up!

Additional Grooming Services:
To keep your dog looking pristine, we offer full grooming services for an additional fee. Whether it’s a full groom, de-shedding, brush and blow-dry, dental clean, or claw clip, our on-site grooming studio can schedule appointments to suit your dog’s day at the retreat.

Training Excellence:
Enhance your dog’s skills during their stay with a training session from our qualified trainers. Available for an additional fee, these sessions are perfect for daycare dogs, or you can opt to attend our training workshops after daycare on select days.

Evening & Overnight Stays:
For dogs staying overnight, the adventure continues! After a day of fun, they’ll enjoy a relaxing family evening in our farmhouse, complete with an additional evening stroll around the Retreat's fields. Your dog will have their own room, access to the garden, and the comfort of home-like surroundings. Bringing their own bed or toys is encouraged but not necessary. For overnight stays longer than 3 nights, a prior short overnight stay is required to ensure a perfect fit.

Flexible Daycare Hours:
Our doggy daycare operates from 7AM to 7PM, Monday to Friday & 8AM TO 6PM at weekends with flexible drop-off and pick-up times. Simply let us know your schedule via WhatsApp, and we’ll be ready when you are, ensuring a smooth and convenient experience for both you and your dog.

To maintain our high standards, we limit places at in our doggy daycare and we always invite our guests to book a free meet and greet session. This  normally takes around 45 mins. This is an opportunity for you to tour our facilities, meet us and ensure both you and your dog feel comfortable at our home. 

When visiting please ensure that your dog meets the following requirements before scheduling a meet and greet. We have established these essential rules to maintain a happy pack while you're with us.

• Dogs must be sociable with other dogs & humans and have participated in their meet and greet session before being considered for a spot at The Retreat.
• Dogs must be registered with a U.K Vet, possessing an updated vaccination card covering the entirety of their stay. The vaccinations must include the Kennel Cough. This will be verified during the meet and  greet.
• Male dogs must be castrated.
• Dogs must be at least 6 months old.
• Any health issues to be disclosed on booking in.
• Dogs on the U.K banned breeds list are not permitted.

Unfortunately,  we cannot accept dogs that do not meet this criteria. However, feel  free to discuss your situation with us, and we can provide guidance on  alternative options with other boarding or day-care providers that may  be able to accommodate your needs.
